The Hispanic Scholarship Endowment Fund was created in 1985 to provide financial support for the educational endeavors of Hispanic youth in the Rochester area.
The Fund is an essential resource for the Hispanic community. It enables students to have access to educational and career opportunities, which can move them in a direction of financial self-sufficiency. These scholarships are given to students with educational excellence.
The endowment fund is managed by the Rochester Area Community Foundation.
The Hispanic Scholarship Committee is made up of five members including the Committee Chair. It is responsible for the outreach and recruitment of students and donors, and it ensures the integrity of the selection process based on a 100 point value system. Students who accept the scholarship offer sign an agreement to attend school and keep the required GPA.

Your contribution to the Fund will help our Hispanic youth pursue a college education. You can contribute to the fund by sending a check to Ibero-American Action League, or you can support the Annual Hispanic Scholarship Award Gala event held in June where we recognize the recipients of the scholarships.
